Stephanie Taylor-Thompson
Director of Reentry Transformation
Stephanie Taylor-Thompson is a lifelong resident of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She is in long term recovery and a formerly incarcerated person. Stephanie earned full pardons from both Idaho and Montana in 2017. She graduated from Idaho State University with degrees in Sociology and Criminology and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work. Stephanie is a former Reentry Specialist for the Idaho Department of Correction and a former AmeriCorps VISTA. She currently serves as Director of Reentry Transformation for Workbay, and a Prison Ministry Manager for the nation’s largest prison ministry. She is also a Certified Peer Support Specialist, Certified Family Support Partner and Recovery Coach. She is a graduate of the Idaho Citizens Law Academy. Stephanie is an elected board member for numerous organizations dedicated to reentry, recovery, and mental health, as well as a council member for the Idaho State Rehabilitation Council. Most recently, she was appointed as a commissioner for the Governor’s Commission on Service and Volunteerism for the state of Idaho. Stephanie has received both state and national awards for her dedication to reentry and criminal justice reform. She is dedicated to criminal justice reform, reentry, addiction recovery and anti-human trafficking efforts.
