With a remarkable 12-year tenure at It Takes a Village, Khalil's influence spanned civic engagement realms, including pivotal roles in Denver's Mayor’s Office of HIV Resources Planning Council and Aurora's Homeless Prevention and Rapid Rehousing Project. His leadership extends to public health initiatives, evidenced by his appointment to the Colorado HIV/AIDS Prevention Program Grant Review Committee. As a founding member of Second Chance Center's Board of Directors and now as its Executive Director, Khalil's commitment to rehabilitation and reintegration shines.
